There was a major nautical product launch this week. But there was nary a splash. It's called BoatWizard and yacht brokers, dealers, manufacturers and builders use it to add, change or delete their own boat listings in YachtWorld.com on the Internet. BoatWizard is available only on the Web-based YachtWorld.com, which features the Internet's largest searchable photo database of new and used boats for sale.
Over 40,000 boat buyers visit YachtWorld each month to view photo ads of brokerage boats and new models advertised by the brokers and manufacturers representing them.
While in YachtWorld, buyers also visit other sections, including the Boating Yellow Pages and Superyacht Directory containing the contact information of over 17,000 marine companies. They read current articles, boat tests and gear review by Power and Motoryacht Magazine. Boating for Women Magazine is online. And there are 15 Chat rooms on various industry topics. Boats for Charter are covered in a separate searchable database of boats for charter.
Prior to BoatWizard, advertisers have mailed new boat ads with photos by mail, and faxed or emailed changes and deletions. Now boat advertisers can modify their own information from their own computers, plus upload multiple photos using images from a scanner or digital camera. Companies can announce boat show specials one week and remove the information the next week. Each account is accessed via personal password.
YachtWorld offers a free trial program for manufacturers and yacht brokers to advertise all their boats for sale in their searchable database of boats for sale, for three months, before committing to an annual advertising contract.
For more information on the free trial program for yacht brokers and manufacturers, contact YachtWorld for a free trial package of information.
