Plank on frame construction with oak butt blocks, displacement hull, round bilge. HULL is Eastern cedar 1-5/16 thick; FRAME is white oak 2-14/" x 2" on 12" centers tied in by floor timbers, bilge clamps, and bilge stringers. FASTENINGS are bronze wood screws & bolts; DECKING is planked Douglas fir and cotton caulked, all covered with heavy coat of rubber and sealed (they are 1-3/8" thick).
BEAMS are fir; BULKHEADS are Douglas fir plywood, (3) originals, watertight, T & G. KEEL is Douglas fir; KEELSON is sawn Douglas fir; STEM is White oak; WORMSHOE is Ironbark. KEEL BOLTS are steel 3/4" diameter. ALSO NOTE: Shelf timber is yellow pine, 2-1/4" x 3-1/4"; clamp timber is yellow pine 2 x 6"; sheer plank is 1-3/8" Douglas fir.
12vDC system with original DC breaker bar system; stranded marine wiring; numerous 12v storage batteries; 4-cylinder Waukesha 10kW genset has reportedly been running in the past; 30-amp shore power service. ALSO NOTE: Honda Echo 1000 portable gasoline genset.
GROUND TACKLE includes USN Danforth 150-lb and 220-lb main anchors with approximately 200' of 1/2" diameter chain; 25-lb Danforth secondary anchor; original anchor winch with (2) capstans and (2) chain gypsy.
LIFELINES are brass stanchions and bases with 1/2 7x19 cable; TENDER is a 10' Duroboat aluminum skiff with storage chocks and all-steel davit for launch / retrieval.
MAINS are twin 6-cylinder Detroit Diesel 6-71's rated at 190-hp each, offering 11-12 knot cruise speeds; the starboard main reportedly installed in 2006. Main engine cooling is self contained with heat exchangers; wet exhaust; Twin Disc reduction gear; original TELEGRAPH to the engine compartment. SHAFTS are 2-3/4" monel and stainless steel; cutlass type stern bearings; PROPELLERS reported new in 2008; twin bronze RUDDERS.
