Considerable work was carried out on Fisher Lass between 2005 & 2007 by boat builder Alan Tolley of Hoylake. His work included many new frames sections and planking on both sides. The bilge runner s were removed and replaced. It is also understood that a great deal of refastening of original planking was undertaken and also the ballast keel bolts renewed.
The vessel latterly fell into disrepair and was purchased by the current owner in 2014 with the intention to restore

New larch bilge stringers
New larch beams shelves
New oak engine bearers fitted
New galvanised bolts have been fitted to reinforce futtock joints
Hull striped and re painted
Topsides painted blue with top stakes varnished
All original deck beams have been with new fitted
New Deak of larch laid
New traditional wheelhouse fitted
The keel fastenings renewed 2004/5
The Deck is self draining through 11 scuppers on each side. A New traditional style wheelhouse has been constructed and fitted in oak frames and planking with a GRP roof.
