Kim Holman was one of the most prolific and successful English yacht designers from the 60's with many fine yachts of all sizes to his name. Most of Holmans boats were not flashy or exoctic but they always sailed well and had a lot of interior space for their length, with the 26' no exception. Mahogany on Canadian Rock Elm timbers, copper fastened with a good rig and sails, Yanmar 10hp diesel, 3 berths and a good inventory.

The Holman 26 was a successful small cruising boat, affordable, manageable and typical of Holman designs, they had a good turn of speed and could handle some weather.
This particular boat has had extensive work carried out in recent years including all new topside splines, new garboards and a complete refasten of the hull below the waterline. She has recently been through her annual spring refit and is ready for the current season. Recent survey available.
Hull Mahogany planking ¾”. Steamed rock elm frames, 1 ½” x 1” at 6.5” centres.
Copper nail and rove fastened. Sawn oak floors, some ply doublers. 1.4ton external ballast keel. Bronze keel bolts, drawn 2011.
Decks and cockpit Sheathed ply deck on pine planking. Self draining cockpit. Tiller steering.
Superstructure Coachroof coaming in varnished mahogany. Coachroof deck sheathed ply on pine planking.
