Voyager II is a Lash Brothers Friendship Sloop built in Friendship, Maine. She was launched as a bare hull on November 20, 1965 with a Christmas tree mast and towed to Scituate, Massachusetts, for her owner, Bernie Mackenzie, a founding member of the Friendship Sloop Society. For 7 years he finished her and sailed his first race in Friendship Maine in 1972. She was purchased by a friend of the original owner in 2002, who sailed with the owner many years and who installed a new engine in 2014. She is a well-maintained classic sloop with beautiful finish work and lines. These sloops are not only fun but sturdy in all weather and an experience of ease on the water. If you are in the market for a classic sloop with accommodations for cruising, day sailing, and family fun, Voyager may fit your needs!
