Ocean Pirate was built in 1968 by Brooke Marine Lowestoft and was the first of a series of 40' aluminium fast offshore cruisers built by the yard between then and 1974 with the vast majority going to foreign governments or law enforcement agencies.
She is now unique in that she is the only boat to have completed two of the three Round Britain Offshore Powerboat races that have been run. (More information can be had on the Ocean Pirate website at www.oceanpirate.com)
Ocean Pirate is a very well found traditional boat and is Part I registered. She has a unique history and is an excellent sea boat capable of going anywhere. She is also MCA coded to Category 2 - 60 miles from safe haven - for six persons and is currently used for RYA training and corporate work including team building. The tanks are full and she is ready to go! The only reason for sale is that the owner is buying another boat and so she has to go.
