1970 26' Lyman Cruisette ready for the boating season!
According to her owner, Magic has been cared for by Bass Island Supply since her launch and is always stored inside for winter. Hull painted every other year, touch up as required, bottom painted and decks varnished annually. Engine is original, Crusader Model 270 (350 cu in GM Block), V-8, with 2275 hours, and in excellent condition. Second bilge pump aft. Complete transom replacement 2005, including aft ends of various hull planks, and all interior bracing. Replaced several ribs and ends of others in addition to nine planks total on both sides 2004. Deteriorated wood was expected in these locations after 34 years. Decks port, starboard and aft have been replaced, within last 10 years. Complete records of all service and maintenance are on hand.
Includes life jackets, mooring lines, anchors (2), anchor lines (2), fenders, fire extinguishers, automatic fire extinguishing system in engine box, full cover, full seat cushions including cabin, depth finder, cockpit lighting, VHF, installed charger and shore power cord, etc.
Galley area behind skipper seat, ice box, sink, and counter (typical in Cruisette model) was converted by previous owner to seat with storage under, along starboard side.
The seller states that this boat has been underused to say the least. Moored at private dock on Maumee River it was used almost exclusively on the river for family outings, no hard use, such as water skiing, in the 16 years he has owned it.
