Kokomo was completely painted in June 2015 by the famed Moore's Marine in North Carolina sparing no expense the entire vessel was painted to include all the stations, window frames and guard metal. In addition custom handrails were fabricated and installed. Kokomo also has a new teak swim platform which 36" deep making it a much safer and more usable platform.
In 2000 the motors were replaced with new 3208 435hp CATS. Today, the vessel has approx. 1650 hours and the generator has 1890.

Three staterooms with complete heads and stall showers. Saloon has L-shaped settee and will convert to two extra berths.
The galley is located forward of the saloon and down on lower level aft of forward stateroom. A dinette is located opposite the galley to starboard and will accomodate four comfortably.
Comfortable L-shaped settee on port side and arm chair with ottoman opposite. Two additional ottomans/seats. Flat screen TV located on side table. Bar cabinet.
Master stateroom is located aft with port & starboard berths, large hanging locker, built-in chest & desk, seat & linen locker. There is an ensuite head with stall shower. Forward of the master stateroom is a guest stateroom to port with two single berths, hanging locker and chest. The guest head is located opposite across the companionway. A second guest stateroom is located in the bow forward of the galley with upper and lower berths on the port side and the head compartment and hanging locker opposite to starboard. There is also shower stall located on port side immediately aft of the berths.
The spacious and comfortable bridge deck is fully enclosed with access to side decks and aft cockpit. This area is climate controlled and can serve as an additional saloon. The lower helm station is on the centerline with a large companion seat to port. There is a large L-shaped lounge aft to starboard of the rear doorway to the cockpit. Opposite the lounge are two nesting coffee tables and two rattan arm chairs. There is a wet bar located on back side of the companion seat at the helm.
The spacious fly-bridge is accessible from the cockpit with a ladder mounted on the forward deck box. There is a centerline helm with companion seating to both port & starboard. There are two additional Pompanette side arm swivel chairs, a storage locker and a bimini top for weather protection.
The spacious cockpit has three hatches for access to the engine compartment. The two large engine hatches have electric lifts.
There is a 20lb conventional anchor stored in an anchor pulpit at the bow with 3/8" chain & 5/8" rode attached. There is a Ideal windlass/capstan mounted on deck, and a 20lb backup anchor with chain & rode stored in the anchor locker.
In early 2000 the vessel was repowered with twin Caterpillar 3208 TAs at 435 hp each and ZF IRM280VLD 2:1 ratio v-drive transmissions. A Kohler 18.5 KW generator was also installed. Engine hours are 1650 , and generator hours are 1890.
Entire boat including the bridge deck is climate controlled with reverse cycle air conditioning.
The AC electrical system is supplied dockside by port or starboard 50 amp shoreline inlets, and while underway with a Kohler 18.5 KW generator installed new in early 2000 and currently with 1890 hours.
The DC electrical system consists of a 32 volt DC two bank house system, and a 12 volt DC two bank system for engine and generator starting.
