Seagull is very unique, combining a smaller boat's lower ownership and operating costs with the amenity of a much larger boat. The 30 foot hull (33'2" overall) offers superb layout with a salon running the full-width of the boat. Easy deck access is forward through the helm door, or aft through the salon. (One also can pass by the outside of the salon along the caprail, which is surprisingly comfortable). Cruisng at 6 knots she will average about 3/4 gallons of diesel per hour.
Only 29 were built, and this one has been thoughtfully equipped for serious cruising.
She is the only W30 known to have been in the Great Lakes since first launched and never exposed to salt water.
She has had extensive renovation inside and out; a beautiful paint job and refinished teak; New fuel tanks; completely rebuilt engine, transmission and peripherals (and a nifty pump plumbed to the pan, which makes changing oil a breeze); New engine mounts and sound-proofing; extensive electrical work; New 450 amp house batteries with 100-amp high output alternator, smart charging and electronic monitoring; New Raymarine C-120 Color Chartplotter / Fishfinder and a fabulous New bottom. All of the major work has been done professionally and she should be good for another thrirty years.
