The is a classic Jeremy Rogers design introduced in 1974. The yacht was up-rated in subsequent years with various modifications including increased fuel and water capacities. Production of the much sought after Contessa 32 ceased in 1990 when over 550 had been built.
Accommodation is for six persons in two cabins.
The forward cabin has two single berths in the usual 'V' configuration.
Just aft of the forward cabin and to port is the head fitted with a sea toilet. Sliding recessed stainless steel with manual pumped fresh water. To starboard of the head is a large wet storage locker.
The saloon has two single settee berths and the port berth will convert to a double when required.
Right aft and to starboard is a single sea berth.
The galley is to port at the after end of the saloon and is fitted with a stainless steel sink with pressurized hot and cold fresh water. Hot water is supplied via a calorifier. Large cool box, Plastimo two ring gas cooker with grill and oven (new 2012). Ample working surfaces and storage space is available.
The yachts dining area will seat a full crew and is local to the galley for ease of catering and entertaining.
The 3 cylinder Beta Diesel engine is accessed from the saloon and behind the companionway steps.
The saloon has brass oil lamps as well as electric lighting.
The chart table is forward facing and located to starboard at the after end of the saloon.
The yacht is sloop rigged and all masts and spars are alloy.
All standing rigging is stainless steel and in good order.
All running rigging is in good order.
