The Van de Stadt Legend 34 can accommodate 5 people in 2 cabins, with 6’ headroom, forward twin V berth with infill to create double bunk. Forward deck hatch. Heads compartment with a Blake’s sea toilet and wet locker. Saloon with fold down table. Settees to port and starboard can also be used as single berths, quarter berth to starboard. The galley is equipped with two burner cooker with grill and oven, useful work surface, stainless steel sink, supply from an 80 gallon tank. Plenty of storage space, crockery and cutlery included. Upholstery in cream leather, with curtains throughout. Oil filled electric radiator for cabin heating.
Rigged as a masthead sloop, deck stepped aluminium mast and boom (Starlight 1976), stainless steel standing rigging. Slab reefing with furling headsail.
The Van de Stadt Legend 34 is powered by a 2001 Yanmar 3GM30 3 cylinder diesel engine (last serviced 2014). Shaft drive to fixed 3 bladed propeller. Giving a cruising speed of approximately 5 knots, and an approximate maximum speed of 7 knots.
2 x 12 volt batteries charging from the engine alternator and 1 spare; also a 220 volt ring main has been installed.
