You'll notice Dream Catcher's most notable feature as soon as you enter off the aft deck the main salon is huge. Trawlers are known for being exceptionally roomy and Dream Catcher lives up to that expectation. Next, you ll notice her beautiful woodwork. The elegant warm teak parquet floor, cabinetry, walls and trim invites you right in. Immediately the left is a supersized convertible dinette that can easily seat six people quite comfortably. Across the way is a long daybed that can seat another four. That's 10 people right there, folks! And feeding all those hungry tummies is an easy task in the considerable galley that is bigger than what you d find in most apartments. A Mariner oven/stove combo with four burners means you can cook up a quite a storm. An apartment-sized Norcold refrigerator with a large freezer can easily fit several meals worth of food and leftovers as well. Oodles of counter space make and a large double stainless steel sink make food prep a breeze. Six gallons of hot water and two water tanks holding a total of 200 gallons will keep your fresh water supply ample. Open up the long counter as a serving buffet or a cocktail bar, with wine glasses hanging at the ready. Plenty of cabinetry is available to tuck away all the pots, pans and dishes out of sight. Across from the galley is the inside starboard helm with raised cushioned captain s seat and an access door to the starboard sidedeck. The parquet flooring extends down into the bow of Dream Catcher. The full head has plenty of storage, a large amount of counter space, a decent-sized hand sink and a stand in tub/shower combo. Across the hallway portside is a stateroom with a single berth, night table and hanging locker. Eight drawers built into the furnishings offer plenty of storage options. Above the hanging locker is a perfect perch for a plant or a flat screen TV. In the bow is the captain's berthing area with many more drawers and cabinets for storage, as well as a hanging locker. She sleeps a total of 6 people very comfortably. In the colder months, an Espar D2 forced air diesel furnace keeps the entire cabin warm. In 2012, Dream Catcher went through an extensive interior rebuild, including new ceiling carpets and trim. You will notice the inside of Dream Catcher has been kept in a dreamlike condition.
Her covered stern deck and side decks set Dream Catcher apart from all the other cruisers on the market. Everyone can enjoy a spot under cover when enjoying the outdoors in inclement weather. Come aboard Dream Catcher via one of three transom gates. No matter how you re docked, your passengers will be able to easily step from the dock to her deck. Her teak deck wraps around the vessel and step up at the bow with attached wood railing around the bow. Another highlight of this trawler model is the vastly oversized fly-bridge accessed from the aft deck through a peek-a-boo hatch. The fly-deck encompasses the entire main salon cabin top and the extra room makes an excellent storage area for a couple of kayaks or crab pots. She has a pot puller, pole holders, cleats and chokes for your fishing ease. Dream Catcher when through an extensive rebuild in 2011 in which all needed fiberglass was patched and replaced on hull, decks and railings. She has always been kept under cover during the winter and is in pristine condition. Her current owner has been very diligent on keeping up with her routine maintenance. Because of that, Dream Catcher is a well kept boat that will capture your heart.
Rebuilt in 2013, a 120 horsepower Ford Lehman diesel engine with 420 hours on it moves Dream Catcher through the water. Trawlers are not known for their speed, but they are known for having high fuel efficiency, so with her cruise speed of 7 knots (top speed of 8 knots) and two fuel tanks holding a total of 400 gallons, you ve got a lengthy traveling range that stretches far over the horizon. A hatch in the salon sole provides easy access to the large engine room. When it s time to anchor down for the evening, the Ideal windlass electric winch will smoothly lower your Delta plow style anchor and 560 feet of chain and line and keep you set for the night. Docking is made easy with a Penta 9 bow thruster with new motor from 2012.
Two helms are available for your cruising pleasure and both are outfitted with 2016 Raymarine GPS systems. The main/interior helm is also outfitted with a Raymarine MFD plotter, Raymarine Q24 Chirp radar, Raymarine 60 VHF, Raymarine Chirp Depth Sounder and a Sensor Core auto pilot. A Blue Sea electrical panel was installed in 2013 and a full rewire for most systems was done at the same time.
