The Bristol 35.5 is a classic Ted Hood design. She combines comfort, performance and craftmanship into a sought after boat that stands the test of time. Bristol has always been associated with the very best and "Age of Reason" is an excellent example of this.
When you first see her sitting at the dock with custom canvas covers on all teak, and matching canvas on mainsail, dodger, and bimini, you will be struck by the clean lines and elegance of this beautiful yacht. As you step below you will be surprised and pleased by the quality of the beautifully varnished teak trim on all doors, cabinets and storage lockers throughout the boat.
"Age of Reason" has an enviable history of success on the race course over the past several years, including multiple wins in the annual Governor's Cup - a race from Annapolis to St. Marys College. She has been modified for racing for infrequent forays on the race course, while retaining the essential characteristics for cruising - comfortable sleeping berths for up to 6 adults, full galley and head, and cockpit canvas and cushions that are in great condition.
With a large inventory of racing and cruising sails in excellent condition and PHRF rating of 162, "Age of Reason" is ready to win races today in PHRF C on the Chesapeake, while doubling as a fine cruising yacht. Make an appointment to see this beautiful boat today!
