Gwylan is a ketch rigged Fisher 25 Potter. Originally designed for commercial fishing, many of the “Potter” version of the Fisher 25s were converted to ketch rigged “weekenders”. Gwylan is a “weekender” having two bunks and a Jabsco WC in the forepeak cabin together with a single bunk in the amidships hold. With hull number 64, and sail number 074, Gwylan was built by Fairways Marine, Hamble in 1978. Purchased by the present owner in 2008, she was formerly based in Phwelli and cruised extensively in the Irish Sea. Since 2009, Gwylan has been very little used and her outings have been confined to the Solent.

Even before you step on board you can see that a great deal of work and money have been spent on this unusual yacht. She is really in great condition. I've been out in her and under sail she picks up a fair speed. A survey was carried out in June 2015. She is a lovely boat with a lot of character and is going to make someone very happy to own her!
