Bristol Yachts are known for their high quality construction, rich interior teak joiner work and seaworthy designs. Designed by renowned yacht designer Ted Hood the Bristol 35.5 was an evolution from Bristol's earlier full keel designs for a more modern hull form. The modified fin keel and skeg rudder gives the 35.5 improved windward performance and more responsive handling under power. Marjorie Ellen is a one owner boat that has only been sailed seasonally on Lake Superior. She's been well maintained and upgraded over the years including the deck-superstructure and hullsides have all been completely refinished with Awlgrip.
