Well planned floor layout with ample accommodation 6 persons at any one time. To port in the large open saloon there is a straight settee with storage underneath as well as storage behind and above. Also to starboard there is a U-shaped settee with additional storage underneath. To aft and port side of the saloon there is a U-shaped galley with a refrigerator and gas stove and oven, pressurised water system and additional galley shelving for dishes.
The forward cabin is fitted with V bunks. Comprising of 2 wardrobes with plenty of storage, with storage underneath the bunks. A Marine heads compartment is fitted with a sea toilet and wash hand basin with hot and cold pressurised water system.
Located just opposite the galley is the aft cabin with generous private quarter berth cabin. There is a unique sliding teak partition just forward of the chart table and a sliding privacy door. The chart table is in the quarter cabin. As well and electrical service panels are with easy access, instrumentation and chart storage is in this area. The head of the quarter berth serves as a seat to the chart table.
The Moody 33S is rigged as a fractional rig sloop. Aluminium mast and boom. Spinnaker pole. Stainless steel standing rigging (new 2009). Terylene running rigging (new 2009). Roller reefing mainsail. Furling headsail system ( new 2009).
Located abaft companionway is a Bukh DU24 MD2020 2-cylinder 24hp inboard diesel engine. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Single lever controls with electric start. Shaft drive to 3-bladed fixed propeller. Steel 140 litre fuel tank.
