Custom-built in 1980 and refitted in 2010, the world cruiser, SELJM was built to the highest standards by the renowned Italian shipyard, Cantieri Sangermani and with a beautifully finished classic interior, the art of craftsmanship can be experienced both inside and out. SELJM has performed very well in regattas like the The Antigua Classic Regatta where she proudly took first place in her class and won the ‘Concours d’Elegance’ in 2013 for professionally maintained yachts.

Four twin guest cabins aft of the main saloon. Each ensuite has a shower and bidet and the owner’s head features a bath/shower arrangement and gold plated fixtures. The two aft cabins could be refitted to provide for a large owners cabin.
Each cabin is paneled in original yellow oak, off white overhead and exposed Iroko deck beams lending height and light to the rooms. The cabins and head have opening portholes with attached deadlights. There is also a worm geared deck ventilation hatch in all guest cabins. All have individual AC/Heat air handlers.
The Main Saloon features settee seating for 8 and a beautifully crafted cocktail/dining table. There is additional seating with three mahogany folding chairs.
The saloon was re-paneled in mahogany in New Zealand in 1999 and redesigned by the current owners and captain for better entertaining, service, added comfort and increased storage. There are four large opening windows and four additional portholes for ample natural light and ventilation.
The Crew Mess is forward of the main Salon and is also re-paneled in mahogany. It provides seating for six and has a hatch and port lights for natural light. The design incorporates large fridge and freezer storage along with storage for dry goods.
Opposite the crew mess on the port side is the Galley, which has an excellent sea kindly design by the current Captain and his wife and was rebuilt in 1996 with teak paneling and Corian countertops. It is well laid out for food production both at anchor and underway, and has excellent storage. There is good natural light through two opening hatches and two opening portholes. There are additional fridge and freezer units here and access to the ship’s engine room is aft off the galley.
The Captain’s Cabin with ensuite is just starboard and forward of the galley and has a double bunk, hanging locker and sufficient storage for a couple. There are also portholes in both the cabin and head for additional light and ventilation.
The Laundry Room is opposite the Captain’s cabin to port and contains small domestic washer and dryer units and storage for crew linens, cleaning supplies and crew uniform.
Forward, the Crew’s Quarters contains bunks for three and has an ensuite head with shower. There is a hanging locker, cupboard storage and under floor storage and a direct deck access hatch for light and ventilation.
Aft and off the Helmstation, there is a self -contained Navigation/Office Station which is separate from the guest accommodation. It features a full size chart table with chart storage below, shelving for periodicals, filing cabinets for manuals and ship’s documents, some of the ship’s navigational and communication equipment and a large cupboard for guest luggage. This is a great addition to the boat and a very unique, functional space.

SELJM was designed by Anselmo Boretti and built in 1980 at the renowned Italian yard Sangermani.
Inspired from the famous 12 metre "Intrepid", her hull is made of African teak- iroko- and her spars are in Canadian Fir.
Vessel has benefited from same ownership the last 18 years and has been generously funded for safety, upgrades and maintenance. SELJM has been maintained to the highest standards at all times. She has always been classed Lloyd´s 100 +A1 LMC.
Her former Captain and wife were on board for 18 years; he oversaw all yard periods and sailed all miles of the three circumnavigations. They have competed in several Classic Regattas, always with honours.
SELJM was the VIP yacht for the Sydney Olympic Games 2000.
In April 2013, she won the Antigua Classic Regatta in Classics Class A and was also awarded 1st place in the "Concours d´Elegance" for professionally maintained yachts.
