This Southerly 95 is a comfortable cruising yacht with a lifting keel for relaxed cruising in shallow waters. Approximately 5.5 knots cruising and 6.5 knot maximum speed under power. Single lever control. The engine was removed for a full overhaul in 2002 by Volspec, new engine mounts, repaint, fuel tank, shaft and bearing. The engine has been regularly serviced since then. Bowthruster (2003).
