The C & C 40s make very nice cruisers as well as powerful racers. There is very little exterior wood to keep you at the dock maintaining it instead of spending your time sailing & cruising. The C & C 40 was introduced in 1978 and @ 125 boats were built up until 1983. Ideal design for the very popular distance races to Mexico etc.
