Cape Dory Yachts began in 1963 in Bridgewater, Mass with the production of a 10' dinghy. Of the Cape Dory 28's, there were 389 built. A Cape Dory 28 'sistership' completed a solo circumnavigation!
The full keel/attached rudder gives stability in heavy weather. The tiller adapts easily to being tied off on a reach or fitted w. tiller pilot for single handling.

The Cape Dory 28 offers a very traditional layout of V berths forward; head aft on port; hanging locker opposite. Main cabin has single settees port and starboar; galley is split aft.
Cushions are not onboard; they are still on land/at home. Will be on board next month.
Sails include two (2) genoa's. one new in 2005; main is original.
