Beautiful displacement canoe-stern Benetti built in 1983 and massively refitted by her current owner. She boasts new paint, teak decks, engines, generators, water maker, electrics, Hamman, bow thruster etc. It is hard to think what other improvements could be made to BACK SOON. She has always been fully crewed throughout the year and as a result the maintenance has been kept up to a very high standard. She is in superb condition and should be a joy to own for her next owner.

Major list of works
Starting in 1994, BACK SOON made a circumnavigation departing from the Mediterranean and headed South through the Red Sea, from where she turned East and headed for the South East Asian waters. There she spent many summer seasons. After that she headed to Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific Islands. In Australia and New Zealand she underwent quite extensive scheduled maintenance, and then continued on her way to South America. After several seasons in the Caribbean she made her way back to the Mediterranean. In Astilleros de Mallorca on the island of Mallorca she underwent two major refits, which were predominantly focused on the structural integrity of the hull and superstructure, refitting the engine room and guest cabins. The original engines were rebuilt and reinstalled. Tank tops, shell plating and numerous other pieces were repaired or replaced and a paint job followed.
Shortly after this was done BACK SOON was sold to her current owner who has placed his personal mark on the vessel. This was done over a period of 5 years and the list of work is very extensive. The major undertakings include a full repaint, re-teaking of the entire vessel, removing all of the existing fittings in the engine room, sandblasting the entire space and rebuilding it from the ground up. New main engines were installed as well as new generators and much other equipment. All new highly polished stainless steel pipes have been used and an entirely new electrical system was installed throughout the vessel. The bridge was updated with communication and navigation systems to be consistent with modern day expectations.
BACK SOON was refitted to MCA SCV2 standards under the British flag and was registered in London and commercially coded. Although she was never actively used as a charter yacht, she should be easily re-certified and chartered by a future owner.
BACK SOON is currently flagged in Malta and VAT has been paid. She has always been fully crewed throughout the year and as a result the maintenance has been kept up to a very high standard. The entire vessel has been re-varnished by the crew, a time expensive job where each piece of interior fittings has been restored to their original style.
It is hard to think what other improvements could be made to BACK SOON. She is in superb condition and should be a joy to own for her next owner.
