Introduced and built by Westerly Yachts in 1979 and designed by Edward Dubois. Production ended in 1984 by which time over 400 of these excellent yachts had been built. The Westerly Griffon has proved itself to be a popular and safe family cruising yacht. Six berths with 6' standing headroom. New Bukh 24 H.P. Diesel fitted 2000.

The Westerly Griffon 'Maple Star' is a good example of her class. The vessel was fitted with a new up-rated 24H.P.Bukh Diesel engine in 2000. Much new and expensive equipment has been fitted in an ongoing refit making this a well priced and well cared for family cruising yacht.
