The Columbia Aura 8.7 has a roomy interior with 6'1" headroom and accommodations for 5. Forward is a spacious, airy double V-berth with shelves, storage below, two opening ports and a large hatch overhead. Aft to starboard is a set of drawers and a full hanging locker. To port is the enclosed marine head with H/C pressure water and SS sink with vanity.
Moving aft to the salon, There are single berths/settees to port and starboard. Lots of natural light illuminate the fine teak joinery found throughout. A cleverly designed large teak table folds down from the bulkhead to port creating a dining space for 4-5 adults. The cabin sole is teak & holly. A liquor cabinet is built into the bulkhead to port, a magazine/chart rack to starboard.
Continuing aft to starboard is the galley with 2-burner alcohol stove, ice-box, deep SS sink w/ H&C pressurized water and ample storage. Aft to port is a quarterberth, a shelf w/ Microwave oven and the VHF radio.
