The Moody 34 offers up to six berths in three cabins with two double berths in separate sleeping cabins and approximately 6'2" maximum headroom.
FORE CABIN: A generous V berth with infill to create a double berth and opening hatch to foredeck. Good storage space in overhead lockers, hanging locker and beneath berth stowage.
SALOON: Consisting of a U-shaped settee to starboard, table with folding leaves and settee berth opposite with useful stowage in various lockers and shelving areas.
GALLEY: Aft to starboard and equipped with a Plastimo Neptune 2000 2-burner gas cooker with grill and oven (new 2001), twin stainless steel sinks, fridge (new 2009) and ample stowage. Passageway leading to owners aft cabin with hanging lockers and further storage areas.
CHART TABLE: Aft facing chart table to port with navigation equipment and electrical distribution panel.
AFT CABIN: A large cabin offering an offset double berth with seating area, hanging locker and opening hatch to aft deck.
HEADS: Separate compartment aft to port fitted with a Jabsco marine toilet, wash basin, shower and storage.
Teak interior woodwork with dark blue velour upholstery, scatter cushions and cream curtains. Pressurised hot and cold water supply via calorifier. Wallas 2400 paraffin warm air diesel heating system.
Located under cockpit, Thornycroft T90 35 hp 4-cylinder diesel. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Single lever controls with electric start. Shaft drive to fixed 2-bladed propeller. Engine instrumentation including rev counter, ammeter, oil pressure and engine temperature gauges. Engine water flow alarm.
The engine has been regularly serviced, appears to be in good condition and has run for 2689hrs.
2 x 12v Batteries charged via engine alternator (new 2014/2015). Shorepower system with ring mains and battery charger. Solar panel and Rutland 913 wind generator with Marlec charge regulator (all new 2009).
Masthead bermudan sloop rig. Silver anodised aluminium mast and boom by Kemp. Mast steps. Stainless steel standing rigging (new 2011). Wheel adjustable backstay. Terylene running rigging (new 2004). 2 x Lewmar 43 self tailing primary winches. 2 x Lewmar 7 halyard winches on mast. Lewmar 7 mainsheet winch on coachroof. Lewmar 7 halyard winch in cockpit.
