Let's go! "Vamanos" is big, fast, beautiful, and strong. She has been well cared for with many recent updates including all new wiring, batteries, and high output alternator. Her meticulous owner has spent many hours and dollars making Vamanos an unparalleled value in the 43'-47' range under 100K.
Upon descending the companionway, there is a surprising sense of spaciousness. This is confirmed by the 6’ 8” of headroom as you enter the salon. The second thing you notice is the warmth exuded by the use of contrasting wood. Dark cabinetry, against the light ash ceiling and use of teak with holly floor. The salon is simple and comfortable with two opposing couchs with a coffee table in between. At dinner time, the coffee table raises up and unfolds to accommodate all the space needed for a full blown diner. Leaving the salon, we pass thru a short hallway with access to the forward head and closets. Then, on to the spacious forward cabin. A two-way door makes it possible to share the head with the salon and still maintain privacy. Large deck hatches in the salon and forward cabin let plenty of air in the cabins when in the partially open position. There is a large shelf on both sides of the cabin and a seating area to port. Easy access to the anchor locker is forward of the bed.
Passing back thru the salon we see the forward facing navigation station off to starboard. There is room for those backup paper charts and other valuables under the chart table. It’s also a dry comfortable place to keep an eye on neighboring obstacles via the radar.
To the other side of the boat we see the spacious galley with large L shaped counter space and deep well insulated ice box. A double sink makes cleaning up after dinner a snap. There is even a trash door that accesses a hidden trash can in the wall behind the galley.
Normally, this would conclude the tour of the boat except there is a door just aft of the galley that leads to the aft stateroom with its own private head and large centerline queen size bed. This gives the unique feature of being an aft cockpit / aft cabin design with all the privacy it affords.
