Handy, more stable cruising yacht from the shipyard NAJAD on the boat building island Orust in West Sweden. Solid, traditional boatbuilding with moderate long keel, skeg rudder and laminated front of skirting board to side walls. The NAJAD 320 offers very seaworthy, safe sailing characteristics despite its handy size. With a ballast of approximately 2,200 kg (ballast ratio about 45%) the NAJAD 320 is a very stiff sailing yacht. Deep protected cockpit with fixed windshield and wheel steering. This NAJAD 320 was built at that time for an employee of the NAJAD shipyard, which equiped it rich and made lots of sensible, individual changes to the interior.
The NAJAD 320 is rigged with a keel stepped, fractional SELDEN mast with a pair of aftswept spreaders. Genoa furler RECKMANN (from 2006), manual backstay adjuster, spinnaker pole, isolated backstay, 3 color lamp with anchor light at mast top, solid vang, sails: full batten mainsail approx. 23,0 m² on ball bearing sliders with lazy jacks and boom cover, jib ca . 21.0 m², blister approx 60.0 sqm in sock.
Steering wheel, teak deck on side decks, coachroof and in cockpit, teak on winch consoles, manual windlass with bruce anchor 15 kg and 40 m chain 8 mm, fixed windshield, spray hood and cockpit tent (both from 2009), bathing ladder with teak steps, stern anchor gear, abrasion protection at all cleats, cockpit shower hot/cold.
Lovingly executed, consuming fittings in mahogany. Layout: forward cabin with V-berth, L-galley to port with gas stove (2 burners and oven), double sink and large electric cooler 80 l wet room to starboard aft quarter berth to port aft.
