Every fall since we have stored in Chicago, (about 15-18 years) Crowley’s has winterized the engine including changing the oil and filter and fuel filters. She has two fuel filters. My thought process was that fall is the time to get any accumulated condensation out of the systems before letting her set for the winter. The years prior to Crowley’s we stored at Oselka's in New Buffalo. Oselka's did the same winterizing program then. We had a slip in New Buffalo at the time. The cooling system is closed containing antifreeze. This is cooled by fresh water.
