Designed by Stephen Jones for the 1986 Half Ton Cup, and built by her first owner, Howard Sellars. GRP/kevlar/epoxy/foam sandwich construction (the hull was epoxied in 2011). Yellow/cream coloured hull and light grey painted non-slip decks. Lead fin keel with 70kg lead ballast blocks in bilge. Tiller steering to spade hung rudder. Self draining cockpit.
Modified in the stern to a Jones design (when she was rechristened ’Sorceress’) for a later Half Ton Cup. Further modifications, including removal of ’frog eye’ bumps at the forward station in 1990. Hull in way of keel rebuilt in heavier lay-up by Reg White Ltd. under surveyors supervision following some damage.
