The Colvic Victor 40 offers seven berths in four cabins, three double sleeping cabins separate from the main saloon, with plentiful stowage throughout.
The forecabin has a good sized V berth with stowage underneath. It has an opening hatch to foredeck. Separate heads compartment to port with marine toilet and washbasin with hot and cold pressurised water. There is a hanging locker and large pantry opposite. There is a Mid-cabin to port with double berth and galley opposite.
The galley has a two burner gimballed Flavel Vanessa gas cooker with grill and oven, Daewoo 240V refrigerator, Waco coolmatic icebox, crockery, cutlery, 240v Microwave, stainless steel sink and drainer. It has a pressurised hot and cold water system. Water is heated by the engine, gas system and 240v immersion heater. The water tanks hold 40 gallons of freshwater with hand pump to galley only. Steps up to deck saloon. Internal helm position to starboard with engine control and instrumentation and pilot berth outboard. Dinette to port with raised seating for good visibility. Fixed table with drop leaf. Steps down to chart table to starboard with aft heads opposite. The aft heads has a marine toilet and shower with hot and cold pressurised water. The aft cabin has a centreline berth with access from starboard side and lots of storage.
This Colvic Victor 40 benefits from Eberspacher D5L diesel fired heating system (needs a service) with outlets to all cabins and the saloon. This with the teak joinery gives the boat a real cosy feel.
This Colvic Victor 40 has a ketch rig with masthead deck stepped aluminium Z-Spars masts and booms. Stainless steel standing rigging last changed 2002 and Marlow running rigging that was all replaced in 2203/2004. Slab reefing mainsail and ketch with furling genoa. 1 x Spinnaker pole.
Located in the centre of the yacht is a Thorneycroft D1526 60HP diesel engine installed in 1983 but not commissioned until 1987. It is shaft driven by a Borg Warner gearbox to a fixed three blade bronze prop with rope cutter. Single lever Morse control. Stainless steel 72 Gallon fuel tank giving a range of approx. 500n miles. Engine was last serviced in May 2014.
It has a Vetus 3KW 12A Bowthruster. Engine will enable the yacht to cruise at 5 knots with a maximum of 7knots.
4 x 12V 95AH batteries (new 2011) charging from alternator, solar panels, 240v battery charge run from 240v shore power system and Clarke 700W Petrol generator (new 2003). 700w Inverter

This Colvic Victor 40 with white GRP hull with blue stripe and white superstructure with teak decks had its hull factory built in 1983 and was finished by the factory/yard in 1987. The current owner has had this yacht for the past 12 years. They have used the yacht in the Med for the past 11 years during which time it has been ashore for 9 out of every 12 months. The last survey was completed approx. 6 years ago and has just been sailed back from Greece to the UK.
