The CS40 is a classic example of the perfect performance cruising yacht. Designed by the successful British racing yacht designer Tony Castro, the CS 40 is a great blend of cruising comfort and racing performance. In appreciation of the design, quality and finish of the CS40, the US yachting magazine Sailing World voted her top of the class in their 1987 Boat of the Year Awards, beating out the Farr 38 and the Swan 61, a very impressive honor.
"Scorpia" features a well lit and spacious cabin appointed in gorgeous teak with ash trim slats and upgraded beige leatherette upholstery. She has elegantly appointed double cabins fore and aft. The forward cabin has the benefit of access to the large shower/ head compartment. In the main salon, space is utilized to the absolute maximum, with settees port and starboard and a centerline wing table.
