This life-long fresh water Beneteau First 35s5 is a great boat for family cruising or entertaining, but she is also a FIRST series and can be a very competitive racer. The First 35S5 provides a spacious and well-constructed interior with 6’- 4” headroom or more in middle. On entering the saloon to port is the L shaped galley with twin stainless steel sinks, with hot and cold pressurized water. A gas oven with twin hob and grill, fridge and a variety of storage including 4 handing lockers.
Aft of the galley is the door to the comfortable sized double cabin. Within the cabin there is storage, battery isolator switches and further access to the engine compartment.
To starboard of the companionway is the generously sized heads compartment with sea toilet, hand basin and shower.
The chart table and navigation area house the electrical panel and JVC Bluetooth capable stereo (new 2016). The chart table itself slides outwards under the side deck to reveal storage beneath.
The saloon is light due to the molded skylights and opening ports, with roll down black out shades. The Mahogany wood finish is well constructed and functional. A central table with folding leaves and built in storage is flanked by two good sized settee / berths.
The fore cabin feels narrow but provides 2 more berths and more storage as well.
Handrails overhead run the full length of the saloon providing security while under way.
