This is an exceptionally clean example of the very popular Catalina 30. She shows like a much younger boat than a 1990. Her bilges are clean, the sole is spotless, the exterior is clean. She is set up for coastal cruising with wind and solar power generation. The Universal diesel is clean and ready to go.
The accommodation plan of the Catalina 30 has been so popular that even though it is one of the easiest modifications for a builder to accomplish, the layout has remained unchanged for the first 25 years. The V-berth cabin forward is followed by a port side head and shower and starboard side-hanging locker. Further aft the main saloon has an L-shaped dinette to port and settee to starboard followed by a good sized galley to port and navigation station to starboard. There is a starboard side quarter berth which is plenty wide for two people. The companionway opening is exceptionally wide which, when open, makes the cabin appear even bigger than it is.
I have years of racing and coastal sailing along with a 6 year circumnavigation behind me.
Whether you are looking for a club racer, coastal cruiser or live aboard blue water cruiser I have the knowledge and enthusiasm to help you find your dream boat.
As you come down the companionway the chart table is to the starboard and the galley is to port. There is a two burner propane stove, dual sinks with pressure water. Multiple drawers and cabinets and 12 volt refrigeration.
Aft of the companionway is a large berth that almost stretches full width of the boat.
Forward is the main salon with a table that is stowed up to give a large casual area and when down will easily accommodate 4 adults for dinner.
Forward of the bulkhead is the head to port with vanity, sink and ample storage to port and starboard has a hanging locker and bank of storage drawers.
Forward of this is the v berth with 12 volt fan and storage.
She has a very clean Universal M-XP25 diesel engine. She has a primary Racor filter with an engine mounted secondary.
She is equipped with a Raymarine RL70C chart plotter with Radar
