This boat has been very lightly used and reflects excellent construction and design. Only 303 original hours on the Volvo Diesel. Modern sloop rig with roller furling genoa and lines leading to the cockpit. The traditional lines belie her modern underbody. Spacious enough for 4 yet small enough to be manageable under all sailing conditions. 6' 4" bunks, 6' 2" headroom and 8' cockpit seating with high coamings make her a comfortable daysailer or safe offshore cruiser. Her mainsail and jib were new in 2007 and have 10 hours use. The interior and exterior cushions were also new in 2007 and have very little use.
This is a handsome and proven design of Chuck Paine, and was built by Loomis Yachts of South Dartmouth, MA. Approximately 12 of these hulls were built by Loomis and this was the last one they built. This Annie design is also being built now by Morris Yachts of Southwest Harbor, Maine.
She will need to have her exterior wood treated, but she is ready to sail away today. She may be had with the option of a slip at an upscale Rhode Island marina.....and keepin mind that vessels berthed in RI are not subject to sales or use tax.
Hand laid up fiberglass hull, fiberglass over cored deck. Dark blue awlgripped hull in 2004, beige decks, white sheer stripe and boot top, red bottom. Tiller steering with outboard rudder. High, safe cockpit coamings; clean, wide side decks. 4, 400 lbs lead ballast. Bronze ports (not opening). 1 Bomar deck hatch. Teak exterior trim.
1991 Volvo 27 hp diesel, 3 cyl. FWC. Engine hour meter with 303 original hours on meter. Fuel gauges. Racor fuel filter. New fuel tank, 1996.
12V/110V systems. Three 12V batteries. Batteries are located in port cockpit locker.
For four. Vee berths forward which makes into one large double berth. There are storage lockers under. Next aft, is the main salon which is open to the vee berth area and has two generous-sized settees, with backrests which raise up to provide comfortable settees. There are additional lockers under the settees. Next aft is a unique head area which is enclosed by a new bi-fold door. The current owner daysails and there is a new Porta Potti head. A chart table folds down to provide a large, horizontal surface for navigating. Opposite to port is a galley which includes a S/S sink with pressure cold water, an ice box, and a three burner Shipmate propane stove and oven. The interior is very nicely finished in varnished mahogany bulkheads, a teak cabin sole, and new beige-tweed cabin cushions. There are two Oriental rugs on cabin sole which convey with the vessel.
