German Frers design built to exceptional quality in Holland by Standfast. 'Splendid' is just her name - superb is an accurate description of this lovely yacht. 'Splendid' has been maintained to an extraordinary standard by her second owner - he was also the first owner - he bought her back after a few years with a larger Swan. We can see why, she is a real sailors yacht that would inspire confidence whatever your plans. The stunning build quality is backed up with tremendous attention to sea going details. The design allows a proper aft cockpit with an excellent owners suite aft with a centreline double. Two further twins and two bunks in bow. Superb saloon with plenty of seating port and starboard. Very full inventory includes genset, watermaker, heating throughout and air-conditioning to master suite. Constant upgrades including recent sails, replacement engine in 2006 and new hull paint . Her decks are in great shape having originally used 20 mm Burmese teak, hard to believe she was built in 1990. Stunning yacht we can't wait for the sea-trial! Standfast 56 designed by German Frers and built by Standfast Yachts BV, in The Netherlands
German Frers designed and custom built for a very experienced owner by the high quality yard of Standfast Yachts in Holland. Decades of experience, German Frers and triple-A materials have been used to design and build Splendid for one goal: a hurricane proof fibreglass yacht build to the highest standards, comfort and luxury. Splendid has constantly been maintained with love during her life and has only had two owners from new - the original owner decided to buy her back again with only one reason after sailing a few years with a bigger Swan.
The pictures of Splendid are all actual from March 2015 and give an objective impression of her condition and on the superb quality of materials and craftsmanship used.
