Zarnitsa (formerly "Laguna British Friendly") is an adaptation of a winning half ton design. She was hand-built in Russia.
The hull and deck are covered by fiberglass set in epoxy resin. In over 8,000 miles of sailing she has proven to be incredibly dry. On her long passage from Russia to England, foodstuffs were carried in her bilge. Completing in 1983 ZARNITSA was a huge refit project, including new deck and professional Awlgrip paint job from the waterline up.
She is a very special boat with a unique history, currently stored on land, Turks and Caicos, awaiting her next adventure.
