Frank Day was a noted boat builder on the shores of Maine as was his father Arno Day. EMMA AGNES is one of his later boats currently on her third owner who loves her dearly but is not able to use her anymore. A handsome down east styled power cruiser with simple accommodations for two in a "Herreshoff Syle" interior with varnished mahogany trim on white bulkheads. There is 5'-3" sitting headroom below and 6'-4" headroom in the wheelhouse. Starting forward is a anchor locker followed by 6'-6" settee berth P&S with swivel style reading lamps and with storage cubbies below.
Aft and to port is an enclosed head with small vanity with storage below and stainless steel sink with manual fresh water and manual Wilcox & Crittenden W.C. Adjacent to the head is a Force-10 propane fired cabin heater.
Up 2 steps to the wheelhouse with helm station to starboard and Galley split to P&S. The galley is fitted with a Force 10 3 burner propane stove with oven, single basin stainless steel sink with manual fresh water and Dometic 12 volt refrigeration/freezer box and storage.
A center line door provides access to the large cockpit fitted with a full width storage box which also acts as a transom seat. Side decks with convenient hand holds allow ease of access forward to handle the anchor, pick up the mooring etc.

Mechanical: Fresh water cooled Chrysler 250 hp engine provides cruise speed of up to 10 knots while turning a 4 blade 19X15 diameter propeller on a 1.5" stainless steel shaft through a Borg Warner Velvet Drive 1.88:1.0 transmission. The engine was removed and gear were completely rebuilt and painted in 2012.

Construction and Gear
Nicely built with of 4"X 1" Cedar planking on 2" X 1 1/2" white oak laminated frames with bronze fastenings on 9 1/2" centers. 2" floor timbers, keel, sheer clamp are also of white oak. White pine decks on 1-1/2" X 1-1/2" deck beams. All P&S fixed windows were replaced in 2001.
Topsides are finished with a white enamel with tan toe and rub rails with light gray decks while the bottom is finished in a blue antifouling.
