Welcome Aboard! Come see why Kadey-Krogen Yachts are so sought after throughout the world. Alcyone is a great example of another long-term owner who has taken good care of her. Step aboard and you will see everything in order, and a generously warm interior.
This full-displacement vessel has been to Alaska five times and around Vancouver Island twice. But Kadey-Krogens have recently been in the news crossing both the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans. She is a wonderful vessel that will take you anywhere you want to go.
Alcyone boasts a newer Perkins diesel with only 255 hours. Her beam and thoughtful design offer exceptional storage space everywhere. Beautiful teak decks enhance the exterior look, and a full enclosure is included for the cockpit (we call it the back porch!), making this area an excellent 4-season extra living space. Even a custom full-boat cover has been made for winter storage.
The Kadey-Krogen 42 has an impressive 3,000 mile range and has crossed many oceans. She will give you a gentle ride. Her design has proven itself to be very seaworthy. Come take a look for yourself.
Alcyone is at our dock in Seattle near Fisherman's Terminal. Contact Dennis Lawrence or Bill Nieman for more information or to schedule a viewing.

Hull is fiberglass sandwich construction using closed-cell PVC foam core. Closed-cell PVC foam does not deteriorate or absorb water. Fiberglass schedule uses heavy hand lay-up mat and roving. The composite structure serves both as a buoyancy material and shock, sound and temperature insulator. It rides quiet, increases impact strength and eliminates condensation build-up inside the hull. Decks and superstructure are fiberglass sandwich construction.
A fully-covered cockpit is teak lined and spacious.
Entering the saloon through the aft cockpit double doors, you will note a large, open and bright living area, complimented by large opening windows both port and starboard, customer corner and center tables, and convertible, expanding "Krogen" teak table -- perfect for entertaining or extra projects.
The galley is well-equipped for family-size entertaining and convenience. Generous on storage space, there is purposeful customization throughout.
Forward and down from the galley is the guest cabin and office to starboard, with plenty of thoughtful customization that will make your cruising more convenient and organized.
Across the companionway from the Guest Cabin is a large, full head.
The forward master cabin with en-suite master head is a comfortable place for the owners to relax. It includes:
En-suite master head features:
