This is an extremely rare opportunity to own one of the greatest true passage makers ever built. Only eight of these incredible little ships were launched. With her single Caterpillar 3208NA engine and her roller furled steadying sails there is no destination out of her reach. The saloon is through a double door off the back deck. It features a leather sofa and chair, and lamp table on the starboard side and dinning table on port side. Sole is teak parquet. For entertainment, there is a Sony HDTV, new DVD player as well as TracVision satellite TV receiver. The aft deck of the Krogen 54' has the distinctive canoe stern which provides a perfect place to entertain guests. The fixed settee wraps around the stern and provides ample seating. A teak door leads to a covered walkway up the starboard side of the boat allowing access to the bow. There is also a drop down gangway to starboard for easy access to any dock. A hot cold shower is provided for washing down after a swim.
The galley is forward and to the starboard from the saloon. It is separated from the saloon by a raised galley counter. Equipment includes two Sub-Zero 249RP refrigerators, freezer, Force 10 4 burner LPG stove with oven, microwave, single stainless steel sink, and trash compactor. There is an abundance of storage in the galley.
The master stateroom is midship with a queen walk around bed situated fore and aft. Abundant storage is provided by multiple drawers under the bed, a dresser, two nightstands and a 6' hanging locker. There is a new 19” wall mounted TV connected to the satellite receiver as well as to a DVD player. The large stateroom is well ventilated with two portholes in the stateroom and two matching portholes in the adjoining hallway.
The ensuite head is forward of the stateroom and features a large shower as well as a Vacuflush toilet. There is generous counter space and storage. An opening port keeps the head well ventilated.
The guest stateroom is forward in the bow. The room features a double offset berth. There is ample storage in multiple drawers and a hanging locker. Four portholes and hatches provide superb light and ventilation, especially at anchor.
The guest head is across the companionway from both the guest cabin and office space. It features a large stall shower with seat and a Vacuflush head. It has two opening portholes which provide ample light and ventilation.
The office is midship on the port side just forward of the master stateroom. It features a ship’s desk with chair. Just forward of the desk are an over and under bunk. The space can be curtained off for crew or as additional guest quarters.
The pilothouse is up three steps from the galley and offers superb views in all directions. It features dutch doors that along with two rear windows and one forward window provide ample ventilation while under way or at anchor. The pilothouse berth also pulls out to make a double bed. There is plentiful storage in lockers throughout the pilothouse. A comfortable Stidd chair is at the helm for those long watches
