Beautifully kept example of the popular Hatteras 50' Convertible, fully fish-rigged but mostly cruised in the Chesapeake Bay. You will not find many "deferred maintenance" issues with this one! This yacht was sold new by Bluewater Yacht Sales, and has lived on-site for the majority of her life. To say that she has received the best of care is an under-statement! "White Mist" has the preferred 3-stateroom, 2-head layout with galley up. Powered by 870hp Detroit Diesels 12V71's with after-market single-lever electronic controls, she will easily cruise 26 knots in almost any sea condition. In the last 9 years, this yacht has received multiple upgrades that include: new electronics (see full specs for list), new entertainment system (flat screen TVs, DVD, and SAT TV), new carpeting throughout, new Amtico wood floor in galley and heads (2015), new upholstery in salon (2015), and a new reverse-cycle air conditioning system. On the exterior, she has a new 4-sided enclosure, new canvas awning over the forward end of the cockpit, and is constantly detailed and waxed. September 2012 insurance survey available for inspection. Fighting chair is perfect, and is being stored in Owner's garage until sold. This yacht shows extremely well, and should be compared to a much newer model!! This is one of those truly "special boats" that must be seen to be fully appreciated. To find one of this vintage that is in this condition is next to impossible. ***Boat comes with a tremendous amount of new and reconditioned spare parts- inventory too long to list here (priming pumps, switches, duck valves, you name it...).
January 2016- Major Price Reduction. Owners have their eye on their next boat, and have significantly reduced the price to encourage offers.
See "Full Specs" for more details on her recent upgrades.
March 2016- Boat has been hauled, bottom and running gear painted, hullsides buffed and waxed. See photos.

"White Mist" has the preferred 3-staterom, 2-head with galley-up arrangement. Entering the salon from the cockpit, it is immediately apparent that this yacht has always received the best of care and has been kept up-dated with new carpeting, new wall coverings, new soft goods, and new entertainment equipment. To starboard aft is the roomy and inviting L-shaped sofa with decorative coffee table. Forward to starboard is the large U-shaped galley. Across from the galley is the dinette and new entertainment center.
Down the companionway steps leading forward, the master stateroom is to starboard. This stateroom features a centerline queen berth with storage beneath, large hanging locker, bedside tables, dedicated air conditioning/heat, drawer storage, new 15" flat screen TV, and a large ensuite head with stall shower and vanity. Across to port is the guest stateroom. This "3rd" stateroom includes over/under berths, large hanging locker, drawer storage, and air conditioning vent. All the way forward is the VIP stateroom. The VIP could easily be mistaken for the master, as it is quite large. The space includes a centerline queen berth with storage beneath, overhead hatch, hanging lockers, drawer storage, dedicated air conditioning/heat (also services the bunk room), full size (new) over/under washer and dryer, and private access to the guest head which is located between the two guest staterooms. The guest head, which also serves as the day head, also has a separate stall shower and vanity.
"White Mist" is fully rigged and ready to cruise or fish. She has an excellent electronics package which includes the following:
Below is a list of recent upgrades that have been made to the yacht. Some of the items are quite major, while others may seem trivial. The point is to show prospective buyers the extent to which this boat has constantly been maintained.
This boat is equipped for serious offshore fishing. Not only does she offer the incredible Hatteras ride to get you comfortably to the fishing grounds, she is ready to go when you get there:
Port engine was majored about 500 hours ago due to a mechanical failure caused by a valve. Starboard engine has been gone through extensively, and is running strong. Total lifetime engine hours are about 3.060.
