This beautiful yacht, designed by Alan Warwick and built by Salthouse Marine,is a real masterpiece. Set up for short handed sailing with fingertip control hydraulic sail raising and sheeting, makes sailing her single handed abreeze, This vessel knows Cook straight well and has done numerous offshore trips.
She sails fast and comfortably to windward, can be set to sail herself steadily on any course using the powerful auto helm systems, and has proven to be a particularly safe and reliable vessel for all of the past 20 years. Built for serious sailing, she carries a 3.5 tonne lead bulb on the bottom of the stainless steel keel and this keel also acts as an additional diesel fuel tank.
The list of gear is extensive, with many upgrades and as can be expected, the Salthouse interior is exquisite.
At the time of build she cost NZ$1,5 mill , so represents good value for someone looking for that special yacht.
