This Beneteau Oceanis 381 offers six berths in three cabins. There is a large V berth forward with stowage underneath. Opening hatch to foredeck. Hanging locker to port with seat and ensuite heads to starboard with washbasin, hot & cold pressurised water, shower and marine toilet.
The saloon has a linear galley to port with large dinette opposite with large oval saloon table with seating all around. The saloon and forward cabin seating has recently been replaced with cream leather upholstery. The galley has twin stainless steels sinks with hot & cold pressurised water, lots of storage space, large fridge with freezer compartment, recently replaced 4 burner gas hob with oven.
The chart table is to port, it has lots of stowage space and a range of instruments. To starboard is the main heads containing washbasin with hot & cold pressurised water, shower, marine toilet and stowage space.
There are two aft double cabins both with hanging lockers and lots of stowage space. The yacht has a very cosy feel with the cream upholstery which is enhanced by the Webasto diesel cabin heating.
The cockpit is very spacious with good sized lockers, steering pedestal and centre cockpit table. The yacht actually feels like a 40ft yacht.
Masthead rigged sloop. Silver anodised keel stepped Z-Spar mast and boom. Stainless steel standing rigging. Terylene running rigging updated and replaced as required. Facnor headsail furling system. Furling inmast reefing mainsail. Lines led aft to Spinlock clutches.
This Beneteau Oceanis 381 has a Volvo MD22L, three cylinders, 50hp diesel engine located under companionway steps. It has a shaft drive to a three blade fixed propeller. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Single lever Morse controls on steering pedestal. 150 litre steel fuel tank giving a range of approximately 400NM at 6.5 knots cruising speed. Maximum speed under power 8.0 knots plus. Engine was professionally serviced in March 2013 including new cambelt. Anti foulded and anodes changed 2014.
3 x 110AMP 12 volt batteries (1x engine + 2 x domestic) approximately 3 years old charging from alternator and battery charger. 240v shore power system with ring main, immersion heater and battery charger.
Built by Beneteau in 1996 designed by Berret/Racoupeau and Beneteau Design. White GRP hull and decks with moulded-in non-slip surfaces. Cast iron deep fin keel. Wheel steering to spade hung rudder. Anodised aluminium toe rails. Stainless steel stanchions, pulpit and pushpit quarters. Walk through transom gate to bathing platform. Teak battens to cockpit seats and transom platform. Stainless steel folding swimming ladder. Self-draining cockpit. 2011 Survey report available upon request. Keel bolts were replaced in August 2014.
