Bristol 42'6" Hunter Passage model racer cruiser combination. The 42 Passage is considered the strongest and best cruising model built by the Hunter Marine Corporation in the years between 1992 and 1997. This model was discontinued due to its labor intensive construction.

"On BVI Time" has an exceptional interior layout. From the Anchor locker at the bow, to the aft island queen berth in the owner's cabin, the yacht features a V-style forward guest cabin with hanging locker and dressing vanity. The Forward head is located to the starboard side with easy access from the guest double cabin.
The Salon features a large dinette/settee to port with oval shape dining table and centerline bench seat with storage under. The table top coverts to additional sleeping area by use of various size pedestal legs secured by cinch clamps. Across to Starboard is a smaller settee. Both settees are covered in blue fabric that compliments the teak interior.
As one walks aft from the salon and to port, an additional hanging locker is noted to the port side, and the Navigation station mounts longitudinaly. This area houses the breaker panels for 12VDC and 110VAC. Major electronics are also mounted in the cabinet work here. Adjacent and across from the nav station is the engine room area. The Generator and Auxilary Diesel are installed here along with the large capacity battery system and Trace inverter/3 stage charger that is accessed from a large door in the after owners cabin. This area is sound shielded for quiet running. 6'6" headroom is maintained throughout yacht.
The aft cabin is huge. It features a centerline island berth, large hanging locker, exceptional size settee, and vanity. There are also some counter surfaces along with book storage. The after head in amazing. It offers slanted mirror door sliding cabinets and excellent storage for cosmetic items and the necessities found important to the female sailor. There is also an enclosed stall shower that include a sit tub. The after queen island berth has a custom high density foam matress. PHRF rating is Bouy rating 102, RLC of 96 and Non-spinaker offset of 18. Performance factor is 1.35 The interior is truly exceptional and has been maintained to the highest order.
The galley offers the ability to truly cook at sea. There are two separate refrigeration boxes: one for a freezer and one for a chill box. Both are equipped with Adler Baurbor cold plates, and driven by a 12V Adler Barbour compressor that is 12VDC. There is a double stainless steel sink with pressure water on near centerline with storage under and good storage along the starboard side of the hull. A microwave is located above and between the galley stove. It has a three burner Seaward Princess LPG stove and oven. The LPG fuel is located in the starboard side hatch at the stern of the yacht and is vented overboad for safety. The galley is an efficient size and offers all conveniences needed for long range cruising or day sailing, whichever is your choice.
A 18 inch Max Prop was added and has increased the sail speed by 3/4 to 1 knot.
