Manufacturer Provided Description
The Albin 35 Sportfish - Convertible is ideal for those who live in warmer climates or prefer the exceptional visibility afforded by the flybridge. The sport flybridge has the helmsman and crew sitting aft in individual helm seats, with bench seating for four people forward of the helm station. This bridge is designed for the best visibility when "backing down" while fishing. The cruising flybridge features a center helm seat flanked by two individual seats at the forward end of the bridge. With a total seating capacity of seven and a starboard seat that converts to a six-foot lounger, this flybridge is the ideal choice for the long distance cruising addict. The cockpit of the sportfish version includes a recirculating baitwell, a sink, a chopping board and a six-drawer, lockable tackle unit as well as rod storage and rod holders. Both versions have a built-in transom door. This boat is available with a single engine (speed range 15 to 22 knots) or with twins (speed range 22 to 30 knots).
This Boat has been re-powered in 2006 with a reconditioned Cummins 450C. The work was done when it was discovered that there was water in the cylinders. It was decided to replace the engine with a Cummins factory reconditioned engine, installed by factory mechanics. The engine has a total of 104 hours on her since replacement. Prior to the install of the engine the fuel tanks were replaced in 2005 with (3) new stainless tanks.
