"SPINDRIFT" Traditional Styling. Contemporary Performance
The Sabre Design Team designed the Sabreline 36 Express Cruiser to fit a new boating lifestyle, while meeting the desire for traditional good looks, outstanding performance and unequaled quality, above and below deck.
Sabre has been building the Sabreline range of motoryachts since 1989. the 36 Express Cruiser is a departure from the other Sabreline motoryacht models, and appeals to yachtsmen with somewhat different priorities. As much as they enjoy boating, work, and other leisure time activities do not always leave enough time to take advantage of the amenities and range of a large motoryacht.
The Sabreline 36 Express Cruiser is built with great integrity and strength. She is, first and foremost, a Sabreline. Along with outstanding performance, the express style offers a large cockpit, ample spaces for day use and greater ease of handling around the docks. Simply put, she's less complex but every bit a Sabreline.
The Sabreline 36 Express Cruiser brings to mind a classic and traditional style, reminiscent of the commuter yachts of bygone days, but with modern and efficient amenities.
The warm blend of her teak and holly sole, solid panel doors, beautiful hardwoods and moldings, milled by hand, make her interior livable and hospitable. her fine cabinetry is finished with varnish to last for years to come.
The layout of the forward cabin offers a comfortable island berth. Hanging locker space is plentiful in this cabin and the lockers above the berth shelves are spacious. The head compartment enjoys private access from both the forward cabin and the main salon.
The main salon offers space for four adults to relax at the end of the day or enjoy a meal. The U-shaped settee will make up into a double berth for overnight guests. Opposite the salon is a full galley offering an AC/DC refrigerator, stove with oven, and all the storage needed for longer voyages.
Ventilation is excellent with eight opening, stainless steel ports and four deck hatches offering plenty of air and light to the interior.
On deck, the helm is located to starboard behind a stylish stainless steel framed windshield. All engine controls, the ship's compass and her owner's navigational electronics are installed on a helm pod which can be tilted aft for easy access and maintenance. Helm chairs are provided for both the helms person and the mate.
Aft of the mate's seat is a fixed bench seat. In the lower cockpit is another fixed bench seat with storage for fenders' lines and safety gear. The transom gate opens out to the fiberglass swim platform and a stainless steel swim ladder is provided. Below the aft deck are additional storage areas, accessible through lazarette hatches.
Both lower and upper cockpit soles are semi-permanent hatches, allowing for easy access should work under the cockpit be required.
Unlike many express cruisers, her decks are wide and comfortable, and the large diameter stainless steel rails provide a solid hand hold when walking forward. In addition the wooden toe-rails offer added security on a wet deck. At the bow, a pedestal is provided for installation of the windlass and two lockers are provided for dockline and fender storage.
The diesel engines on the Sabreline 36 Express Cruiser provide a comfortable 20 knot cruise speed and a top speed of over 25 knots. Her modified deep-vee hull, which has a 14 degree deadrise angle at the transom, gets her up on a plane at 12 knots. Spray rails forward ensure the deck stays dry even in heavy seas. A keel offers protection to the running gear in shallow waters and improves directional stability in quartering waves.
"SPINDRIFT", the Sabreline 36 Express Cruiser; offering the performance, traditional good looks and quality which you have come to expect from Sabre.
