This extremely well equipped Sun Odyssey 43 DS from Jeanneau offers comfortable offshore cruising with two large double sleeping cabins separate from the main accommodation, with great views and light from the deck saloon layout.
She has 3 cabins with 2 doubles and a pair of pulman berths. This design allows for the accommodation to be changed down to a 2 cabin layout or up to a 4 cabin by splitting the large master cabin aft.
There are 2 heads with showers, a cockpit shower and hot and cold water to all outlets. The L shaped galley has a twin burner stove with an oven, twin sinks and a two section fridge, one large deep section with top and front opening and the other smaller section top opening only.
Easy to handle shorthanded with a fully furling rig and bow thruster, she comes with a comprehensive suite of electronics, larger tanks with the fresh water spread across 3 tanks for additional security of quality, hydraulic gangway and a tender, allowing the new owner to simply step on board and start sailing.
This is the version with the large aft cabin with a central berth and opening ports into the cockpit and roof with fixed ports in the hull. There are hanging lockers to post and starboard and plenty of space under and behind the berth.
Access forward to port is into or past one of the heads which has a shower, an electric flush and a holding tank.
Access forward to starboard is into the L-shaped galley which has a good sized working surface, a front opening fridge, twin sinks and a twin burner stove with oven.
The saloon has a table to seat 8 to starboard and a couple of easy seats and navigation table to port.
Forward of the saloon are two further cabins, each with hanging lockers, and a heads with shower. One cabin is a pair of pullman berths and the other a v-berth double.
There is heating and air conditioning to all cabins.
Mosquito screens for all deck hatches.

We bought Jasmine Bleu in 2007 to enjoy sailing in the West Italian area of the Mediterranean as we were moving to Italy to live. We planned to have extended vacations aboard and wanted to have space and comfort together with ease of handling plus a great sail – we got all of these with Jasmine.
Our extended trips around Elba, Corsica, Sardinia and the Western Italian coast during the summer months were close to heavenly and Jasmine was not only a lovely boat to sail but a very comfortable home. Importantly for us we felt very safe aboard with our son who sailed with us - he was just 4 years old on our first holiday aboard.
Jasmine handles very well, not only at sea but also in those tight marinas where we have enjoyed resting up and enjoying the ease of Jasmine’s accommodation, galley and storage layout.
The added water and diesel capacities made life aboard easier as did the aft hydraulic gangway - a must in the Med!
Having now moved back to the UK we are unable to sail Jasmine as often as we would like to so we have made the very difficult decision to sell her and let her give her next owner as much pleasure as we have enjoyed.
