This lovely 2001 Sessa Islamorada 23 has been meticulously maintained by its current owners! It has a 4.3 Mercruiser EFI inboard petrol engine with Alpha one leg with high-spec Mercury Revolution 4 stainless prop. The owner has all of the necessary ownership paperwork and lots of service history.
For the first 5 years or so, the boat was dry stacked at Poole and used lightly. The current owners purchased her in 2007 and carried out a few modifications to bring the boat up to their standard. They fitted the fridge, a sea toilet, installed the VHF radio, installed cabin mood lighting, refitted the transom with flexi teak, had the dash adapted with a custom moulding in order to flush-mount a decent Garmin chart plotter / sounder and purchased a quality Brenderup road trailer for storing and transporting the vessel.
The boat has been professionally maintained which includes an annual commissioning and service and decommissioning / winterisation at the end of every season. The current owners have kept her in excellent condition, attending to any deterioration/maintenance immediately when it arises. They have also had the boat professionally 3M marine polished on a number of occasions, which keeps an attractive appearance and makes it easier to keep clean. During the winter before last they undertook a thorough overhaul of the boat, reconditioning the outdrive, new manifolds and risers and ancillary parts fitted to the engine along with repainting both the engine and leg (pics attached). Adrian Kronk maintains the boat mechanically. The boat is dry sailed from Sparkes marina and so the trailer is only used for road transportation and does not go in water. The trailer is also professionally maintained and generally this involves an annual visit to Blendworth Trailers who service it and deal with any maintenance.
The current owners are selling to buy a bigger boat.
