The Southerly 110 is a proven family cruising yacht that has also been used successfully for ocean sailing as well, including the ARC, across the Atlantic and the AZAB to and from the Azores.
She behaves beautifully under sail and has great sail carrying ability without being over pressed. Her twin rudders remove almost all weather helm and she tracks well in heavy weather.
Below decks, you will find a particularly light and spacious interior with plenty of berths and stowage space.
The highly ballasted lifting keel system improves the yachts's handling qualities and also increases her performance by having less induced drag. Also, being able to sail and manouver in shallow water and even dry out adds greatly to your cruising enjoyment.

Owner's Comments :
The Lady Luthien has always been freshwater sailed on Ullswater and has been professionally maintained from new. She has only been in the water each year between April and September and has been stored ashore under her own custom made full winter cover out of sailing season. She has always had a heater when ashore. We are her second owners and she has never wanted for anything. She has steadily been upgraded and improved for our enjoyment.

Every owner believes that they have an immaculate yacht but we are not so presuming. However, we have done our best as her custodians to keep her in the best possible condition.
We have entrusted Carl Phillips to help sell her for us and are sure that you will not be disappointed when you view her.
once you have purchased her, we will send you a book that was presented to us by her first owners explaining how they named her.
The question you may be asking is why we are selling her. The simple answer is that such is our love for the Southerly brand, we have just purchased a larger Southerly which will be our third !
