The Hanse 411 is the latest model of the new line of Judel/Vrolijk designed Hanse yachts.
She comes with a host of options allowing the owner to highly customise his craft. The Hanse 411 can be handled easily by a small crew thanks to her optimised deck layout and rig. A self-tacking jib along with the single line reefing system bring comfort and convenience and make sailing the 411 a real pleasure. The choice between one or two aft cabins and the option of a second, en suite head in the fore cabin gives owners a wide selection of configurations. The bright and stylish interior gives the saloon a special ambience and individual design possibilities can be requested. The headroom in the saloon at 2 metres will suit even the taller sailors among us. The Hanse 411 is altogether charming with her elegant appearance, comfort down below and excellent sailing performance.
Bulkheads are off-white semi gloss. Furniture is made of mahogany faced marine plywood, partly high gloss varnished. All doors are a foam cored sandwich construction for minimum weight to maintain the good sailing performance.
Forward cabin: Separated from saloon by a door. Large double berth. Hanging locker and locker.
Saloon: Large U-shaped settee with a table on starboard side and two separate upholstered seats on port side. Between the seats is a table, which can also be used as a chart table. The table has storage space for sea charts and navigational equipment. Above the table is additional space for more navigational equipment.
Galley: The L-shaped galley has a top opening fridge with cooling aggregate, a 2 burner gas stove with oven, two stainless steel round sinks. Hot and cold water supply by an electrical pressure system. Spacious lockers. Approx. 220 litre water tank.
Navigation area: The chart table is situated between the armchairs. Electric panel with sufficient space for navigational equipment and space for sea charts.
Heads: Aft on port side with marine toilet, sink, shower. Hot and cold water supplied by an electrical pressure system. Lockers. Stainless steel holding tank.
Aft cabin: With a large double berth on port side and spacious lockers. On starboard side is a large storage room with space for a workshop, sails, lines etc.
2 battery switches, 1 battery (100 Ah), 1 battery (70 Ah). Navigation lights with red/green at bow, white stern and steaming light at mast, anchor light. Lights in saloon, forward cabin, head, aft cabin, galley and storage room. Compass, echo sounder, log. 12 V DC and 220 V AC outlet at chart table. Shore supply, battery charger 27 Amp. Volvo Penta MD 2040 (40 hp) inboard diesel engine with fresh water cooling. Saildrive. 90 litre stainless steel fuel tank, fuel filter, water strainer, engine hour meter, rev. counter.
Hull and deck in white with blue boot top and cove stripe. Sandwich construction, hand-laid-up using Isophtalic resin. Inside surfaces finished with topcoat. Bulkheads bonded to hull and deck.
Stringers and floors. Self-draining cockpit with large lockers. Opening hatch in forward cabin, 3 in saloon and aft cabin. 4 fixed and 6 opening windows. Self-draining anchor locker with opening lid. Teak on the cockpit seats, bathing platform.
Keel and rudder
Lead keel with optimised profile and cast iron shaft. Stainless steel keel bolts. Profiled rudder with alloy rudder shaft and needle bearings. Steering wheel.
Rig and sails
9/10 two spreader rig. Anodised alloy mast and boom. Fully battened main sail with sliders, HANSE single line reefing system (handled from the cockpit), rod kicker. Stainless steel standing rigging. Backstay adjuster. Internal main and jib halyard led aft to cockpit. Main and jib sheets. Self tacking jib with traveller.
4 cleats, 2 spring cleats, genoa tracks with sliders and terminals, 2 self-tailing HARKEN 40 STA halyard winches, 2 self-tailing genoa winches, jammers and lead blocks to lead the halyards aft to cockpit.
