Boston Whaler 28-290 Outrage Overview
Part center console and part walkaround cabin, the Boston Whaler 290 Outrage is a hardcore fishing boat with a large cockpit and bare-bones cuddy cabin for overnighting or cruising. Wide walkways on both sides of the cabin make getting around the 290 easy, and a tall windshield offers good protection from wind and spray.
With her cushioned forward seat and foldaway transom seat, the Outrage is a capable day cruiser as well with room for several guests. Standard features include an integrated swim platform with ladder, hardtop with rod holders, molded bow pulpit, 30-gallon lighted livewell, insulated in-deck fish boxes, deluxe helm seats with flip-up bolsters, anchor locker, bait-prep station with sink, tackle drawers, fresh/raw-water washdowns, gunnel rod holders, transom rod holders, cockpit rod storage, trim tabs, and transom door.
Belowdecks, the Spartan cabin of the 290 Outrage sleeps three and features an enclosed, standup head with electric toilet, rod storage locker, microwave, and refrigerator. Like all Whalers, the 290 is unsinkable.

Before Mercury built the Verado they marketed these four stroke outboards which are actually YAMAHA painted black. The diagnostic download has been completed with no error codes and 332 original hour. Based on the serial numbers, these outboards are not within the run of Yamaha outboards with exhaust corrosion issues.
