2005 Beneteau Oceanis 373
Single owner, well cared for, nicely equipped, shoal draft cruising sailboat.
This Oceanis 373 shows very well, with deck and hull in gelcoat in good shape.
Comfortable cockpit with full sun cover (dodger, bimini, and connector), nice teak accents, walkthough transom and articulating wheel that stores to the side. All lines for the in-mast furling main and furling genoa led aft for ease of handling at safety at sea. Both sails in good shape along with Asym Spinnaker. Nice wide decks for going forward with plenty of sturdy handholds. No leaks apparent below, all acrylic in good shape as is interior cabinetry. 2 Stateroom layout with single head with shower. Large dinette converts into bunk, bench settee opposite which can be used as another bunk. The boat carries plenty of canvas to move her along in light air, while the furling gear makes reefing a simple and quick. The 40hp yanmar diesel will move the boat at 8kts, while her 4’3” draft will let her sneak into those shallow uncrowded anchorages. Equipped with Fischer Panda 4.3KW Genset! She has the shoal keel that only draws 4'3"!

Manufacturer Provided Description
The designers have managed to blend volume, comfort, high performance and elegance. The slender hull, well-balanced sail plan and the standard deep keel, enhance upwind performance, give directional stability and helm balance when heeled. The new split-level deck layout of the Ocýýanis 373 combines greater headroom with fluid aesthetics. The cockpit is very spacious and ergonomic. The cunningly designed removable helmsman's seat simplifies access to the bathing platform, whilst the removable door step makes the companionway very practical. Unrivalled circulation is possible thanks to the brand-new,patented, steering wheel, which can be swiveled out of the way to clear the cockpit, still leaving all the instruments on the helm pedestal.

The hull is single-skinned GRP construction.
Reinforced points (keel, rudder, chain plates, hull-deck joint) help to strengthen the structure.
A structural inner moulding is bonded and laminated to the hull. Its structural role is important as it takes and absorbs the stresses at pressure points (shroud chainplate tie rods, keel, rudder, etc.), and spreads any loads guaranteeing reduced strain on the hull. The surface material of the inner moulding makes cleaning easier and provides a better finish.
The standard hull colour is white with blue and gold decoration. Steel Blue is available as an option.
The deck is sandwich construction (glass fibre and balsa) for an optimal strength/weight ratio and excellent
thermal and sound insulation.
A ?diamond point? non-slip surface increases safety over all areas of movement on deck.
